This is a real template that we use for our events, so we hope you find value in it! We hope this is a starting point for you, but please feel free to change and edit it so it works for your event planning style.
On each tab we list tips for what the tab can be used for. There's no right or wrong way to use this template but most importantly, you want to decide early on one document that will act as your one main planning document. This will ensure that you and your event team/client/vendors are all on the same page.
We love working in Google Sheets/Google Drive where there is only one, editable file but work with what makes sense for your team.
