The Better Events Conference is NOT your standard conference so come ready to discuss what event challenges and wins you're working on. Let's get together as an event community to learn how we all can create, host, and attend better events!

This conference is unlike any other currently available to event professionals. We ditch the passive lectures and overwhelming breakouts and instead focus on connection and learning from each other’s experiences.

In 2025, we offered one virtual only day on Wednesday, October 1st and one in-person day on Thursday, December 18th at the Labour Temple in Seattle, Washington. We’re thrilled to be returning in 2026 for our fourth year of the conference.

Register Interest for 2026

  • Anyone in the event industry interested in collaboration and learning from each other! This includes experienced event planners and producers looking to level up, new planners trying to break into the industry, and event vendors, suppliers, and partners looking to connect with planners.

    No matter if you’re an in-house planner, independent, freelancer, or work for an agency, there will be content for you!

    And as we always say on the podcast, community over competition and we’re dedicated to every attendee walking away with three new connections after the conference and some learning along the way.

  • Over six seasons of the podcast & 235+ episodes, we’ve reached thousands of you and found the conference is the easiest way to bring our community together. Our goal is to facilitate discussions, not talk at you. Too often we’re busy executing events for others and don’t take enough time for ourselves.

    The Better Events Conference is an un-conference, meaning we’re ditching the one-way presentations and overwhelming number of breakout sessions and focusing on the knowledge you and other attendees bring to the table.

    This conference is an opportunity for you to reconnect with yourself, invest in your education, grow your community in the event industry and help us all create, host, and attend better events.

  • The dates for the 2026 conference have not been announced yet! Stay tuned and register interest for the latest information.

  • In 2025, we offered one virtually in October and one day in person in December in Seattle, WA.

    We’ve yet to announce the 2026 format but stay tuned!

  • Tickets sales will launch late summer/early fall.

  • We curate our speakers for the conference each year, focusing on facilitation and interactive sessions. If you have a special session you think would be a good fit, send us an email at bettereventspod@gmail.com with “Interested BEP Con Speaker” in the subject line and your pitch in the email.
