Get ready to explore the different aspects of GROWTH in the event industry over two days this December:

Day 1 - Wednesday, December 18th - In-Person Workshop - Tacoma, WA

Court House Square, 1102 A St, Tacoma, WA 98402

We’re gathering in person for the first time ever, just a short 20-minute drive from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Tacoma, WA. With views of the iconic Mt. Rainier, we’ll be digging into workshop and hands-on sessions to explore growth in the event industry, your business, and your personal development. We also love community so you’ll have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with other attendees. Once you RSVP, we’ll share the link to our hotel room block if you’d like to stay with the group nearby to the Court House Square.

(This day is 100% in-person and will not be offered virtually or recorded)

Day 2 - Thursday, December 19th - Virtual Conference - Swapcard

We’re keeping this day virtual so we can meet with you, no matter the distance! We’ll kick the day off with an opening keynote, interactive panels, and breakout sessions. Similar to Wednesday, you will have the opportunity to connect with other attendees and forge lasting connections.

(Most sessions will be recorded and available for attendees post-event)

The Better Events Conference is an opportunity for you to reconnect with yourself and your goals, meet other listeners, and help us all create, host, and attend better events. It’ll be two days of coming together with fellow event professionals for connection, community, and learning along the way.

Our Brain Bites series is an on-demand video bank for all Better Events Conference attendees. Videos will be no longer than 15 minutes, so they're a quick learning opportunity for our listeners, between sessions or while they're out and about. If you're looking to learn more about what we're looking for watch this 3-minute video here from last year's conference (same criteria for this year!).

Please note: Being a Brain Bites speaker does not include a ticket to the conference, you will still need to purchase one to join us on December 18th & 19th.

    No matter if you’re an in-house planner, independent, freelancer, or work for an agency, there will be content for you!

    And as we always say on the podcast, community over competition and we’re dedicated to every attendee walking away with three new connections after the conference and some learning along the way.

  • Over the past four seasons of the podcast we’ve reached thousands of you and have always wanted to bring our community together. Our goal is to facilitate discussions, not talk at you. Too often we’re busy executing events for others and don’t take enough time for ourselves.

  • This year's conference is on Wednesday, December 18th and Thursday, December 19th. The All-Access ticket will give you access to both days of the conference while the Virtual Day Pass will give you access to Thursday, December 19th only. Buy your tickets now!

  • This year, we're offering one day in person and one day virtually. The content covered over the two days will be different, but they will all revolve around the theme of Growth.

    Wednesday, December 18th, will be in person only in Tacoma, WA. We won't be recording this content, so you'll need to be there in person to experience it.

    Thursday, December 19th is virtual-only and accessible via the Swapcard platform. With this virtual day, we’re able to provide you with top speakers and programming at your fingertips, without hopping on a plane.
