  • It’s for folks across the industry! This includes experienced event planners and producers looking to level up, new planners trying to break into the industry, and event vendors and partners looking to connect with planners.

    No matter if you’re an in-house planner, independent, freelancer, or work for an agency, there will be content for you!

    And as we always say on the podcast, community over competition and we’re dedicated to every attendee walking away with three new connections after the conference and some learning along the way.

  • Podcasting can be a lonely process, with Mary and I talking with each other or with a guest. Over the past four seasons of the podcast we’ve reached thousands of you and have always wanted to bring our community together. Our goal is to facilitate discussions, not talk at you, our listeners. Too often we’re busy executing events for others and don’t take enough time for ourselves.

    The Better Events Conference is an opportunity for you to reconnect with yourself, meet other listeners and help us all create, host, and attend better events.

  • This year’s conference will be held virtually as we want to connect event pros from all over the US and around the world. As a virtual conference, we’re able to provide you with top speakers and programming at your finger tips, no need to hop on a plane or spend another night in a hotel room.

  • Last year’s conference was held virtually on December 20th, 2023. Stay tuned for our 2024 date, announcement coming soon!

  • We’ll be launching ticket sales at the end of summer, starting with an early bird promotion.

    We’ll be offering general admission, and student tickets as well as a group ticket option.

  • We haven’t started the speaker recruiting process just yet but stay tuned and we’ll share more information here.

    In 2023, we curated our live speakers and opened up online applications to be included in our Brian Bite series, a pre-recorded video option in an on-demand library.

  • Yes, we’re currently looking for aligned businesses, big and small to partner with us on this year’s conference. We’re taking a revenue-based approach to sponsorship so no matter if you’re an individual, solopreneur, small business owner or work for a multi-national or global company, we have a package for you.
